The 2016 annual charity lunch auction on eBay (Glide Foundation) for a lunch with Warren uffett received a winning bid of $3,456,789.  This ties the previous record high set in 2012.  The winning bidder’s name has not been revealed.

The winning bid this year is an arithmetic progression, as was last year’s winning bid of $2,345,678.
