Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) has rolled out a new version of Scramble with Friends on iOS titled “New Scramble with Friends.” The previous version of the title has been removed, but users can retrieve their accounts and stats.
iOS is the first operating system where the fresh version of ad-supported Scramble with Friends is available to download. An ad-free version has not yet been released yet.
New version much more challenging
In the latest version of Scramble with Friends on iOS, players will have to play various rounds in which they will create words using randomized letters but the game will have various new challenges to compete.
In this version, players can throw a challenge to a friend or to anyone to play a three round game. Every time a new board with some random letters will be shown, and players will have to create the maximum number of words of possible. Letters must connect to each other in a line, and same tile cannot be used twice. Every letter fetches different points, like V and Y will earn more points compared to E and A.
Players will be compelled to play the game as it offers new daily challenges at each level even when a player is not playing against any other real-world players. The new version includes challenges like creating maximum three letters words or finding the name of a fruit hidden in the puzzle. Puzzle tiles are static and can be played next time to increase high scores.
Additionally, the game is equipped with a player stats feature so a user can track his or her position against the competitors. They can see which friend has created more words in a single minute or created a word that has fetched the highest score.
Zynga released a casino game earlier
Recently, Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) also launched an online casino game on Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) titled Hit it Rich: Casino Slots. Spooky Cool, which was acquired by Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) in June primarily to come out with social casino titles labs, is the designer of the title.
Prior to Hit it Rich, Spooky Labs designed Wizard of Oz themed City-Builder, but the license for the same was acquired by Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) when it took over Spooky Labs. Users can play Hit it Rich: Casino Slots on Facebook for free.
