Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) for iOS and Android devices have released the FarmVille to Table Recipe Book, which is a major change from traditional gaming apps. The mobile version of the game FarmVille 2: Country Escape allows players to create certain dishes, and the new app brings users the recipes for those dishes.
Zynga app includes recipes from celebrities
The dishes discovered by FarmVille players within the game have become popular, and 65% of users want to actually cook the dishes. The app has been designed with the purpose of helping them cook the dishes.
The mobile FarmVille requires the players to create a wide range of dishes from strawberry shortcake to deviled eggs, and recipes of all those dishes are offered to users through the app. The recipes in the app are categorized into pastries, lunches, dinners and more. Other relevant details such as the author’s name, number of serving sizes, time needed for preparation, actual ingredient list and recipe are all mentioned within the app itself, says a blog post.
The book app is a collaboration between the players of FarmVille, Zynga Inc’s executive chef Matthew DuTrumble, food bloggers and celebrities. The app includes recipes from popular celebrities like actress Kate Hudson and The Food Network star Marc Murphy. A recipe for fig and burrata flatbread has been provided by Hudson.
More chance for players to earn points, prizes
Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) is organizing a large event in FarmVille 2: Country Escape on mobile for the purpose of celebrating the harvest season and Thanksgiving. In the event, players will get a chance to meet the animated version of Kate Hudson, and create dishes from Hudson Bellamy Wines, and this could help the players earn bonus points during the game’s ongoing Fall Harvest Event.
Players will get an opportunity to earn points for the Fall Harvest Feast by creating and selling some special recipes and bulk resources like eggs and carrots. The available prizes get better with the points being collected by the players. Prizes include nails, coins, stamps and even a cat for the farm. Special ingredients like kale will are required for creating special recipes, and can be found around the farm at key landmarks such as the Glade, Pond and Mine.
