Fans of Google’s Nexus line of Android-powered smartphones have been disappointed by the lack of new devices since Nexus 6. It looks like the long wait is finally over, as today we heard strong rumors that Google might be launching two different Nexus devices in 2015. Android Police, a website with a good track record on Android leaks, has confirmed on Tuesday that two new Nexus smartphones are expected later this year.
Android Police is also reporting that there will be no new Nexus tablet this year, meaning the Nexus 9 will remain Google’s flagship tablet. The information on Google Tablet plans was received in late April.

According to the latest rumor (rated 7 out of 10 on rumor strength scale), Google will launch two Nexus handsets this year, the first time consumers will have two different Nexus phones to choose from simultaneously.
Like in the past, the new Nexus smartphones should be available by October assuming there are no unexpected delays, according to the report in Android Police.
New Nexus phone specs
The LG Bullhead (a type of fish) will feature a 5.2-inch screen and a battery around 2700 mAh. The battery and the processor have not been finalized, but LG is currently planning on a Snapdragon 808 in this device. That’s the hexa-core chip currently found in the LG G4. It sounds like the new LG Bullhead would pretty much be the 2015 Nexus 5 everyone has been looking for.
The Huawei Angler is a phablet style device with a 5.7-inch screen. The current information from AP indicates Huawei plans to use a Snapdragon 810 in this smartphone. That could also change before launch, but there is a possibility the processor might have to be upgraded. Last but not least, the Angler battery capacity is reportedly close to 3500 mAh. Given these specs, this device sounds a lot like an upgraded 2015 Nexus 6 with a trimmed down form factor.
