As the official launch of Tesla’s highly-anticipated Model X inches closer, more videos and images of the all-electric crossover have started appearing on the Internet. However, few people have got a chance to see the interior of production Model X. Now a spy video offers a look into the interior of what is believed to be near-finished Model X.

Model X interior looks similar to Model S

The video was posted by YouTuber “nbkagzw13.” According to CleanTechnica, it was shot somewhere near Tesla headquarters in Palo Alto. The interior in this video is quite different from the one seen in previous Model X prototypes. The test mule’s interior looks similar to that of the Model S. That is not a big surprise considering both Model X and Model S are based on the same vehicle structure.

From what appears in the video, Model X has the same 17-inch display and the hooded gauge cluster. Tesla’s upcoming vehicle boasts of the Autopilot system and an all-wheel drive. However, we are yet to see a video of Model X’s falcon-wing doors in action. For that, we may have to wait until the official unveiling or launch of the vehicle.

Stifel bullish on Tesla Model X

Model X is scheduled to come out in September this year, after being delayed twice. It will be more affordable than the Model S. Tesla announced earlier this month that it was gearing up to unveil the mass market Model 3 in March next year, and bring it to consumers in 2017. Analysts believe that Model 3 could push Tesla’s sales through the roof. Priced at around $35,000, it will be the company’s most affordable vehicle.

Stifel Nicolaus analyst James Albertine said in a research note last week that the Palo Alto-based company would ship 4,500 units of Model X in Q4, 2015. Despite multiple delays, Tesla has received well over 20,000 pre-orders for Model X. Stifel Nicolaus has a Buy rating on the stock with $400 price target.

Tesla shares fell 1.76% to $242.78 at 1:28 PM EDT on Wednesday.
