The screenshots for Samsung Galaxy S4 were recently released and they confirm that the fourth generation Galaxy S smartphone will feature eye-tracking Smart Scroll and Smart Pause. The supposed screenshots were recently confirmed to be the screenshots which were actually an update for Samsung Galaxy S III but the new features will still be on the upcoming Galaxy S.
SamMobile shared the leaked images on their website and one of the most anticipated features showed up: Smart Scroll. This specific feature monitors the user’s eye movements and scroll the page accordingly. If you’re reading an article on your smartphone and your eyes shift towards the bottom of the page, Smart Scroll automatically scroll down the page to the next paragraph for you.
The screenshots also show that it’s easy to adjust the settings for Smart Scroll. Users can adjust this feature including the acceleration and speed of the scrolls.
Another exciting feature is called Smart Pause, which allows users to pause a video by simply looking away from the screen.
We will find out more about the features and the Galaxy S4 on March 14th when Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) introduces the new gadget at the upcoming launch event.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is one of the most highly anticipated gadgets of the year and rightly so. The Galaxy S4 smartphone brand is the only smartphone to closely match Apple’s iPhone. Both phones pretty much have the same features and the same sleek modern design. It’s their similarities in design that’s inspired the companies to duke it out in court. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has taken Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) to court in the United States as well as other countries. Fortunately for Apple, most of the courtroom wins came from their side although the company isn’t too thrilled that they can’t seem to prevent Samsung from selling their own smartphones.
