Samsung Galaxy S III Is Officially Announced [Specs and Images]

Samsung Galaxy S III is Samsung’s much hyped and a new flagship phone. There were many rumors about how it would look like and also what tech specs would it include, but the rumormill is down as Samsung has officially announced Galaxy SIII. This is the day that many Android lovers and fans were waiting for, as Samsung’s Galaxy SII is already a very popular phone and now here comes the third generation of Galaxy S known as Galaxy S III.

Samsung calls this phone as “designed for humans and inspired by nature”. There are some new features introduced in this phone like S Voice which seems to be a strong competitor to Siri. S Voice presents natural language user interface to listen and respond to your words. Apart from searching and basic device communication, S Voice also presents device control and commands. For example, S Voice can play your favorite song, turn the volume up or down, send emails and texts, launch camera and do much more.

The smart stay feature recognizes how you are using the phone, whether you are browsing the web or reading an e-book. This is done with the help of front camera which identifies the eyes and then the phone takes the decision to maintain a bright display or to dim the light.

Galaxy S III is available in two color variants – Pebble Blue and Marble White. According to the company, additional color options will also be available.

Samsung Galaxy S III will be available from the end of May in Europe and then it will slowly roll to other markets globally.
