Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Comes To UK With £650 Price Tag

Updated on

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now available in the United Kingdom for £650. The phablet-style phone was initially supposed to launch last week. It was first unveiled in September as a large phone with a 16-megapixel camera and 2,650 x 1,440 pixel display.

Galaxy Note 4 specs and features

This phone also features a quad-core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor chip, 3GB of RAM, and Cat 6 LTE speeds. It also runs on Android KitKat 4.4 operating system. Not surprisingly, this year’s model is quite similar to last year’s model. Although it still has a soft-textured back like the previous version, the design is changed up a bit with the Galaxy Alpha-style solid metal frame.

The new phone’s S Pen was designed similarly to an analogue pen. This time the stylus was enhanced with 2,048 pressure points as to replicate a regular pen.

Gold version available later on this month

The new phone is available in black and white. The gold version will be available on October 24th. The phone is in stock at EE and Carphone Warehouse. Unfortunately, it is available only through pre-order on Samsung’s official website. Buyers can expect the phone to ship October 21st. The phone is available SIM-free for £650. Those who want to purchase the SIM-version for less will have to wait. Although Amazon currently offers the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for £600 and Clove has it listed for £575, but the stock won’t be available until October 24th.

When it comes to smartphones, the bigger the better. These days, the phablet has become the phone of choice. Samsung remains as one of the leading smartphone makers, especially in the phablet market. That may all change now that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) entered the phablet market with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Now that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:0059935) finally released the Galaxy Note 4, only time will if Samsung will be able to remain on top.
