In just a few short years, OnePlus has become one of the world’s largest maker of premium smartphones. The Chinese vendor has built a loyal fan base in China, India, Europe, and other markets by offering premium specs at mid-range prices. Its phones have always been nicknamed “flagship killer” and “affordable premium” devices. However, the leaked OnePlus 7 Pro price suggests that the company is moving away from “affordable premium” to “premium” pricing.
OnePlus 7 series to debut on May 14
Earlier this week, the Chinese vendor announced that it would unveil the OnePlus 7 series on May 14th. OnePlus will hold simultaneous events in New York City, London, and Bengaluru to show off its newest flagship phones. The company has already started selling tickets for the events.

The NYC event ticket costs $20 while the London event ticket is available for £16 until April 25th. OnePlus will live stream the event on its official website and its channels on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. The company is going to unveil at least two models – a standard OnePlus 7 and a premium OnePlus 7 Pro with a “fast and smooth” experience.
Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast – a true test of hardware and software.

OnePlus 7 Pro price to start at…?
The OnePlus 7 Pro is said to sport a giant 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, a fully bezel-less and notch-less design, a triple camera setup on the rear, and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed the OnePlus 7 Pro price, which is in the same range as Samsung Galaxy S10E, iPhone XR, and Google Pixel 3.
Agarwal has learned that the 8GB RAM variant with 256GB of internal storage will retail for €749 in European markets. The pricing will differ by €10 in various markets within Europe. There will also be a 12GB RAM variant of OnePlus 7 Pro with 256GB storage. It’s going to cost €819. A few days ago, a Weibo user asked OnePlus CEO Pete Lau whether 5,000 Yuan ($741) would be enough to purchase the OnePlus 7 Pro in China. Lau replied that it would be just enough to get the phone.
Exclusive for @androidcentral:
OnePlus 7 Pro European Price-
6+128GB: € ??? (Unknown ATM)
8+256GB: € 749/759
12+256GB: € 819/829

According to the tipster, OnePlus will also launch a base model of OnePlus 7 Pro with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, but its pricing is not yet known. We expect it to be priced at around €699. Traditionally, OnePlus devices cost in the US a little less than in Europe. For instance, the OnePlus 6T was priced at €549 in Europe and $549 in the US. If the company follows the same pattern this year, the OnePlus 7 Pro could retail for $749 for the 8GB/256GB version and $819 for the 12GB/256GB variant in the US.
The standard OnePlus 7 is rumored to be priced below $600 to cater to the price-conscious buyers, especially in emerging markets like China and India. OnePlus phones have always been value for money devices, but things are going to change with the Pro variant. The sky-high price is quite surprising because the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to lack wireless charging, a secure facial recognition technology, an IP rating for water-resistance, and the microSD card slot.
What else we know about the upcoming flagship
Ishan Agarwal added that the Pro model would be available in Almond, Mirror Gray, and Nebula Blue color options. It is expected to have a gradient color scheme similar to premium handsets from Huawei and Oppo.
According to the rumor mill, the OnePlus 7 Pro would feature 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and a smooth refresh rate of 90Hz. There will also be a 5G version of the phone, which would pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 5G modem. It would run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset. It would support a blazing fast 30W fast charging but lack wireless charging.
On the rear panel, it would feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary lens, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. It would have a pop-up selfie camera similar to what we have seen on premium Oppo and Vivo devices. It is said to pack a 4,000mAh battery and an in-display fingerprint reader for authentication and security.
In contrast, the regular OnePlus 7 is expected to have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. It would have a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie camera similar to OnePlus 6T, meaning it won’t have the pop-up selfie camera mechanism. The OnePlus 7 would have a dual camera setup on the back. It would be available in two different configurations of 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
