OnePlus 6 Price In U.S., U.K., Canada, China And India

Following several months of speculations, the OnePlus 6 was finally announced on Wednesday.  The latest handset is a total visual overhaul compared to the predecessors and is the biggest phone from the Chinese company so far, thanks to its enlarged 6.2-inch display.

The OnePlus 6, which will be available for sale starting next week, continues to blur the line between an affordable smartphone and a premium one. The handset has almost every feature that you would expect in a Samsung or Apple device, but at about half the cost. Talking of the OnePlus 6 price, it starts at $530 in the U.S., £469 in the UK and Rs. 34,999 in India. The OnePlus 6 price is based on the color, and storage capacity. The handset will come in three shades: Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White.

The Mirror Black OnePlus 6 price for the 6GB/64GB variant is $529 in the U.S. and £469 in the UK. Similarly, the 8GB/128GB variant in the same shade costs $579 in the U.S. and £519 in the UK. The Midnight Black 6GB/64GB variant comes for $579 in the U.S. and £519 in the UK, while the 8GB/256GB variant costs $629 and £569 in the U.S. and UK respectively. The Silk White (8GB/128GB) OnePlus 6 price is $579 in the U.S., and £519 in the UK.

O2, a popular high street retailer in the UK, is accepting pre-orders for the handset. The price starts from £40 a month with a £19.99 upfront cost. In China, the 6GB/64GB variant is set at CNY 3,199, the 8GB /128GB variant is priced at CNY 3,599, while the 8GB/256GB variant will be available at CNY 3,999.

In India, the entry-level variant (6GB RAM/64GB) costs Rs. 34,999, while the 8GB RAM/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 39,999. In Europe, the 64GB variant starts at €519, going through €569 for 128GB, and maxing at €619 for 256 GB. In Canada, the 6GB/64GB  variant will ship with a price tag of $699, the 8GB/128GB variant will cost $769, while the 256GB version will cost $839.

Separately, the Chinese company also announced a special edition Marvel Avengers version of the OnePlus 6 for India and China. In India, the limited edition version is available only in the 8GB/256GB model and costs Rs 44,999, while in China it is priced at CNY 4,199.

The OnePlus 6 boasts of some impressive specs. The handset sports a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with 84% screen-to-body ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC clocked up to 2.8GHz and an Adreno 630 GPU.

Further, it sports a dual camera setup similar to the one seen on the OnePlus 5T. The OnePlus 6 has a primary 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The secondary camera is a 20-megapixel Sony IM376K sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. The front camera is 16-megapixel with a Sony IMX371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

Other specs include a 3,300mAh battery with support for OnePlus’ Dash Charge technology. The dual-SIM handset runs on Oxygen OS on top of Android 8.1 Oreo (out of the box). Further, the handset comes with a standard set of sensors such as Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light sensor, fingerprint sensor, Hall sensor, Gyroscope, and more. Talking of connectivity, the smartphone supports a USB 2.0, Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
