Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) will hold an event today to “reinvent zoom,” and presumably, unveil the Lumia 1020. It was revealed earlier this month that 1020 is the designation being used for the long-rumored and much-anticipated Lumia EOS, which will feature the mother of all smartphone cameras.

The 41-megapixel beast is said to be far ahead of other smartphone cameras on the market, and this morning we have some photos that are supposedly of the device. The photos were posted by Vizileaks on his or her Twitter feed and published by The Verge’s Tom Warren.

Also on Twitter, Vizileaks reveals other details about the device, indicating that there are plenty of settings “to tinker about with, from manual focus to shutter speed.” Two of the images posted by the Twitter tipster are said to be from inside the camera app. The tipster also says that the camera takes a standard and a high resolution photo at the same time.

Leaked Features Of Nokia’s Lumia 1020

Of course Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) will include its PureView technology on the device. It has a Xenon flash and F/2.2 lens, plus a Pro Camera app and camera stabilization technology. The app enables users to tweak every setting of the camera, bringing the user experience as close as possible to the experience of using a high quality digital EOS camera with all the bells and whistles.

There’s even said to be a special shell with a camera grip shape which also can be mounted on a tripod and even a two-stage camera button. The camera grip shell just attaches to the back of the device and even has a battery and a USB port.
