Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) has another major event coming up on May 14, and there are plenty of rumors about what we will see. The event will be held in London, which could mean it’s for the global audience. Also we’re expecting between two and four new Lumia devices.

Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NOK) Looks To Expand Lumia Portfolio

So far we’ve seen a nice range of Lumia’s from the flagship 920 down to the low-cost 520 model which is designed for users who’re looking for a less expensive model. It’s only been about six months since the first Windows 8 phones were released, and this time it’s possible that the next batch of phones will be geared toward more upscale buyers.

Among the products that we could see at the event is a Lumia phablet, which is expected to be between 5 and 6 inches in size and come with a pen stylus. The Lumia EOS, a metallic Lumia 920 and the 928 are all other possibilities in terms of what we’ll see at the event. All four of these devices, if they’re unveiled at the event, will likely retail at $450 and up.

Of course with all of its Windows 8 devices, Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) will be looking to expand its partnership with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). We will likely see greater integration with Microsoft Office and possibly even more integration with Microsoft’s Xbox gaming console.

So by the time fall rolls around, Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) will have a much broader Windows 8 phone portfolio if it adds all four rumored devices into the mix. It could even push the price point for its low-end Lumias down a little further by the end of the year, possibly by introducing a 420 and a 320. Currently the lowest cost Lumia is the 520.

Shares of Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) rose 2 percent in Monday trades at the New York Stock Exchange.
