In Moscow, a blast rocked a bus stop, injuring at least three people. According to TASS, the explosion was caused by a homemade bomb or improvised explosive device. The blast happened on Pokrovka Street in central Moscow.

Police reportedly said someone threw the homemade bomb at the three women who were injured while standing at the bus stop, possibly from a vehicle while driving by or from a window in a nearby building. According to Interfax, two of the three women were transported to a hospital to be treated for wounds from flying shrapnel, while the third was treated at the scene for minor cuts. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening. Police are reportedly investigating the incident as a case of hooliganism.

Pictures and video from the scene of the blast that were posted on Twitter do not appear to show any damage to nearby buildings.
