Michael Porter, a Harvard professor, author of some very famous books, including Competitive Strategy: Techniques for Analyzing Industries and Competitors, and expert on U.S. competitiveness, says CEOs must shift their thinking away from simply making money to also considering how their companies’ actions affect the nation. Porter also tells Impact Players host Robert Wolf that the government must simplify regulation and reduce the corporate tax rate if it wants to be a global competitor. Wolf is an outside adviser to President Obama.
