Impressive specs link the device to Nexus 5

Supporting the speculation that D820 could possibly be a Nexus 5 device, the FCC approved smartphone is supported by all the wireless brands like LTE support for At&T, T Mobile and Sprint, all the HSPA+ and GSM bands and other, as well.

According to the revelation by FCC, the upcoming LG phone has Bluetooth 4.0, dual band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, NFC and Qi wireless charging. Further, some of the reports suggested that the phone has a 5 inch display and is sitting on Snapdragon 800 chip. The specifications point towards the phone being a high end Nexus phone.

Google may unveil Nexus 5 next month

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) may unveil Nexus 5 next month, which will be equipped with Android 4.4 kit Kat operating system, an advance feature from the previous versions.

Adam Mills for Gotta Be Mobile told earlier, “just a few days after slashing the price tag $100, the Nexus 8GB went out of stock and it may never return to shelves”. Nexus 416 GB from Google will be ready to be shipped in the couple of days. Customers will be excited to see Nexus 5 with Nexus 4 8 GB no longer available and price slashed for 16GB version. There are high chances of Nexus 5 being launched in near two or three weeks.

Rising competition

Nexus 5 from the house of Google will get fierce competition from rival Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) who is all set to launch iPhone 5S in an upcoming event. Samsung is also gearing up to bring its Galaxy S4 in the market. However, Nexus 5 as far as its specs are concerned, may be a product worth waiting for. Nexus is a fitting choice for those who want a unique phone and don’t want to be counted as one of iPhone or Samsung range owners. Google has made impressive strides in the smartphone market and will continue to be a major player as long as it provides something different for its users.
