Samsung is rumored to unveil the much-awaited Galaxy Note 10 flagship on August 7 and bring it to the market a couple of weeks later. As the launch date nears, we are coming across more and more leaks and reports revealing the phone’s design and features. New Galaxy Note 10 case renders have emerged now, suggesting the device would launch without the 3.5mm headphone jack and would feature a single speaker.

According to the rumor mill, the Korean company would launch the Note 10 in two different screen sizes. There will be a 6.3-inch standard Galaxy Note 10 and a larger 6.75-inch Galaxy Note 10 Pro. Both devices are said to be available in 4G and 5G variants.

In the past, there have been contradictory reports regarding whether the Note 10 would feature the 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung has so far resisted the temptation to ditch the audio jack even as its rivals got rid of the feature. The Galaxy S10 series retained the 3.5mm audio jack, but Samsung could finally remove it from the upcoming flagship, as per the leaked Galaxy Note 10 case renders.

Twitter tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared images showing the top and bottom edges of a Galaxy Note 10 case. It lacks the cutout for the audio jack. A few days earlier, Sudhanshu had also shared pictures of a silicone case designed for the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro.

The picture of the top part shows a triple camera system arranged vertically on the top-left corner of the back panel. There is also a cutout for the LED flash. Last year’s Galaxy Note 9 had horizontally arranged rear cameras. The top portion also has cutouts for the rumored IR blaster and the microphone.

The bottom part houses a microphone, a hole for the S Pen stylus, a USB Type-C port, and a single speaker. Samsung could still offer a stereo sound by using the earpiece as a second speaker, as it did with the Galaxy Note 9. There is no sign of the audio jack.

The images shared by Sudhanshu Ambhore are of the Galaxy Note 10 case renders, not the Note 10 Pro. Accessories maker Olixar shared the case renders for the Pro variant a few days ago. The Pro case renders showed the same triple camera arrangement on the back, but with two additional sensors positioned below the LED flash. One of them is said to be a 3D Time of Flight sensor for depth information and another a laser sensor for autofocus.

The renders from Olixar show the volume and power buttons on the side, but the Bixby button is missing. Samsung first added the Bixby button to the Galaxy S8, and has since kept it on every flagship model. Olixar has also shared pictures of a tempered glass screen protector for the Note 10 Pro. It confirms that Samsung would move the hole-punch to the top-center of the screen.

Separately, online retailer MobileFun has obtained a list of the official Samsung accessories for the upcoming flagship along with their SKU numbers and prices. The list shows accessories for two devices – Da Vinci 1, which refers to the standard Note 10, and Da Vinci 2, which is said to be the Note 10 Pro.

MobileFun says the Note 10 Pro case will fit the 5G variant too. It has sparked speculations that the Pro variant could be available only with 5G connectivity. It’s possible that the 4G and 5G versions of the device would have the same size and dimensions.

The official list of accessories includes a Clear View Cover, an LED Cover, a Leather Cover, an LED View Cover, a Silicone Cover, and a Protective Standing Cover. They are available in a wide range of colors. All of them have been priced between £25 and £60 in the UK.

Korean site Korea Economic Daily has learned from inside sources that the Galaxy Note 10 series would come with Microsoft’s Windows pairing app ‘Your Phone’ pre-installed. The Your Phone app for Android allows you to mirror your phone’s screen on your Windows PC. It also lets you access your phone’s content such as photos, videos, and messages right on the computer.
