I, however, have a reason and that reason is this job. People can’t get enough of Kim and her family it seems and it’s difficult to understand why after all this time. However, it is the case and it appears that Kim Kardashian’s new game for Android and iOS is set to potentially see her earn around $85 million for the game “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.”
Kim Kardashian’s app is just mind-boggling
The game is only three weeks old but is already the number five grossing app in the App Store. The game allows players to created their own celebrity and then interact with Kim Kardashian and her friends. While free to download, the game is making tons of money on in-app purchases. There is a truly horrifying account of someone spending $500 on those purchases in just three days in her quest for A-list celebrity here.
And the woman’s story is clearly not the only one like this as the game if it continues at this rate could gross around $200 million this year. As Kim Kardashian will take in 45% of the game’s net profits, that could see her make $85 million this year and that is not a typo. According to Forbes, that would represent three times the amount of money she earned in all of her projects last year.

Kim Kardashian is paid handsomely for her celebrity. She was paid $300,000 for her exclusive engagement announcement to basketball player Kris Humphries as well as $1.5 million for the photographs of their 2011 wedding that lasted considerably less time than a standard NBA season.
Owing to new husband Kanye West’s interest in privacy, something no Kardashian has ever wanted, it’s rumored that the two turned somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million for photos of their May wedding in Florence, Italy. The couple has also chosen not to make huge amounts of money for pictures of their 13-month old daughter North.
If this game makes her $85 million, those are looking like intelligent decisions from a woman who rarely collides in the same sentence with the word “intelligent.”
