Folks at All Things How discovered that the product sitemap XML file on Apple.com contained product names that will be used in Apple’s online store. The company has since taken down the list. The names, as expected, are: iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone Xr.

The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max would feature OLED screens measuring 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch diagonally. In contrast, the iPhone Xr would sport a 6.1-inch LCD panel, which is inferior and cheaper than its OLED counterparts. All the three phones will have a bezel-less design like iPhone X with a display notch. The notch will house the ear speaker, front camera, and the TrueDepth camera system that enables Face ID and Animoji.
The back panel of all three models would be made out of glass to facilitate wireless charging. Leaks and rumors so far hinted that the button placement on new iPhones will be the same as last year’s iPhone X. According to All Things How, the iPhone Xs an Xs Max will be available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray colors. On the other hand, the LCD iPhone Xr would come in White, Black, Coral, Red, Yellow, and Blue colors.

On the iPhone Xs and Xs Max, the rear camera setup would consist of a 12MP main lens and a 12MP telephoto lens, both of which will support optical image stabilization. The handsets will get a 7MP camera on the front. The rear camera will allow users to take pictures in portrait mode. The Cupertino company is expected to use an improved image sensor in the OLED iPhones, following the trend where the ‘S’ iPhones got an improved camera compared to their predecessor.

Leaks suggest both the OLED models will have 4GB RAM. In contrast, the iPhone Xr would come with only 3GB RAM, and 64GB and 256GB internal storage. There will be no 512GB option for the iPhone Xr.
All the three devices will have NFC, wireless charging, and an IP67 rating for water-resistance. The iPhone Xs is said to have a 2,716mAh battery. The Xs Max should pack a bigger battery to power its larger screen all day. Little is known about the iPhone Xr’s battery capacity.
The iPhone Xs and Xs Max will almost certainly run the A12 processor. Taiwan-based TMSC is manufacturing the A12 chips using its 7nm manufacturing process, which would lead to better energy efficiency and performance than the A11 processor.
