iPhone 6 Price And Release Date Revealed In New Report

Updated on

We have yet another report that points toward an Apple iPhone 6 September release. German-based carrier Deutsche Telekom AG (ADR) (OTCMKTS:DTEGY) (ETR:DTE) initially told customers last month the iPhone 6 would arrive on September 19th. A new report from Chinese internet company Tencent Holdings Ltd (HKG:0700) (OTCMKTS:TCEHY) recently reported the same date.

Anticipation for the upcoming Apple iPhone 6

Although this report is not coming directly from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), it still falls in line with the company’s regular scheduling. This means the rumors are really just easy predictions.

The report also predicts the upcoming smartphone will come in a 32 gigabyte version starting at $850 or a 64 gigabyte version starting at $1,008. No word on whether a 16-gigabyte will be available. Given Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s past, it is very likely the iPhone 6 will launch near or on suggested dates. The iPhone 5 was launched on September 21st but the iPhone 4S was launched on October 14th.

A look back at previous releases

Last year, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) initially released the iPhone in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Singapore, Japan, and China. Judging by the pattern during the official unveiling of iOS 8 this year, it appears Apple is following the same pattern.

Earlier this year, there was a rumor Apple retail stores restricted employee time off for the month of September. The tech giant planning on unveiling iPhone 6 and a handful of other notable products during the latter half of the year including a redesigned 12-inch MacBook Air with Retina display, new Apple TV box top set, and iWatch. The company is also predicted to launch a new version of OS X Mac operating system.

iPhone 6 release date rumors

Apple fans have a lot to look forward to in the next few months. Although we are still not absolutely sure at what date the iPhone 6 will debut, but as per reports we know it won’t be long before the anticipated Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) smartphone is unveiled.
