HTC One "Google Edition" Spotted With Android 4.3

Google Edition Phone to Feature OS Updates

The model number is PN071 and that number reflects  the fact that this Android model will be available at the Google Play Store. This special “Google Edition” phone will also feature OS updates that come directly from Google. This means it will skip the carrier and speed up the overall process.

The question that remains is that why would a Bluetooth-approved device need to go through the certification process for the second time? It’s possible that  the Android 4.3 update will also add Bluetooth 4.0 LE support. This new low energy version Bluetooth allows the phone to sync with other accessories like thermometers, heart rate monitors, as well as other similar monitors.

Android 4.3 has yet to be announced by Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), however it’s predicted that it may launch sometime later in July during the unveiling of the Google Edition and Nexus devices as well as a potential revamp of the Google Nexus 7 tablet computer.

Phone Arena Reports a Revamped Nexus 7

Last month, Phone Arena reported a possible revamped Google Nexus 7 with Android 4.3 at the FCC. They explained, “This new 7 inch tablet has a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The CPU under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro with the Adreno 320 GPU handling the graphics. 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage are aboard and the camera around back is 5MP. The snapper on front of the tablet weighs in at 1.3MP and it all runs on a 3950mAh cell. There is support for NFC and LTE and there could also be support for Qi wireless charging. The bezel will be thinner than the one on the current Google Nexus 7 and the case will be thinner with a measurement between 7.5mm and 8mm.”

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) has a lot in store for fans.
