As we know, a camera’s Panorama mode allows us to capture a complete 360 degree scene in all its glory. This Panorama mode is ideal for capturing those giant landscapes that normal cameras can’t do; but one problem with this Panorama mode is that the iPhone flash cannot be used on the back of the device while using it. Did Apple miss this part? Or was it a deliberate attempt? We don’t know the answer to this question, but one jailbreak developer has found a solution for this. Enter Flashorama.
Many people will agree that the light performance of the iPhone’s camera is not that great, and to top it up, there’s no way to get the advantage of the LED flash. That’s where a new tweak named Flashorama can help users to brighten up dark shots by enabling the phone’s LED flash.
Once installed, you will find a new settings panel for Flashorama. There, you’ll find two settings – one option is to toggle Flash-in-Panorama on or off and another option is to auto-turn off the flash once the photo is captured.
This tweak is only useful for people who regular take panorama shots. If you don’t use this mode often, you probably don’t need this tweak.
This tweak works only on the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, or iPod touch 5th generation. The iPhone 4 also comes with an LED flash but the developer has not listed this model in the compatibility list.
Flashorama is a free Cydia tweak, and can be downloaded from the BigBoss repository. Simply search for it, and install. Let us know what you think about this tweak in the comments below.
