Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) introduced new enterprise services for Workday Inc (NYSE:WDAY) Human Capital Management (HCM), which will help clients maximize the full business value of its applications.

According to the PC maker, corporations seeking to modernize their existing HCM applications are transitioning from on-premise computing platforms to the cloud, which reduces costs, streamlines HR and payroll processes and allows achieving a faster return on investment.

According to Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ), HP Enterprise Application Services offer a distinct advantage to corporations in the increasingly connected world because it supports their efforts in achieving continuous low-cost operations, improve human capital management, productivity and increase employee engagement.

HP Enterprise Application Services is composed of all the elements needed by an organization’s Workday deployment including functional configuration technology integration and program management.

The PC maker said it is in a unique position to help customers achieve the full potential of the application because it is a Workday partner and customer with an increasing number of certified consultants. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) executed the largest Workday deployment to its more than 300,000 employees in over 100 countries. It is also knowledgeable in deploying and integrating Workday within the existing and potentially complex IT environment of an organization.

Scott Spradley, chief information officer, global functions at Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ), said, “Given the sheer size and scale of HP, an on-premises, enterprise implementation project of this scope could take up to three years to complete, from design to launch. We were able to deliver Workday in only 14 months, resulting in a significant upgrade in efficiency, usability, capability and satisfaction across the entire scope of employee and manager self-services.”
