Google Drive is down for many users, and unsurprisingly, people have taken to Twitter to complain about it. We noticed the issues just a few minutes ago, and a check of Google’s App Status Dashboard indicates that it’s not just us. In fact, a check of the outage website IsItDownRightNow reveals that people around the globe are having problems with Google Drive, including the U.S., India, the U.K., Canada, Argentina, Pakistan, and pretty much everywhere else. In the U.S., the problem is coast to coast and everywhere in between.
The Internet giant has indicated that there’s some kind of service disruption with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Google says it is currently investigating the reports of problems with Google Drive and the other services and will give an update when it has more information. So if you see this image in Google Drive, you’re not alone.
Google tweeted an official statement on the Google Drive problems:
We know something’s up with Drive for the moment. Rest assured, we’re on it and we’ll update soon.
