Samsung has sent out invites for its August 13 Unpacked event in New York. The Korean electronics giant is widely expected to unveil the much-awaited Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ at the event. With less than two weeks to go, prolific tipster Evan Blass has leaked the official press renders of both the upcoming devices.

The best look yet at Galaxy Note 5

Though we have seen a number of leaked images of Galaxy Note 5 in the past few weeks, this image offers our best look at the device. Blass also leaked features and specs of the Note 5. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is simply the bigger version of Galaxy S6 Edge launched earlier this year. This device has the curved display on both sides.

The S6 Edge+ is powered by Exynos 7420 rather than Qualcomm Snapdragon 808. The device will reportedly have a 5.5-inch display, 16-megapixel main camera with OIS and 5MP front camera. The S6 Edge+ includes 3GB RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. Recent leaks suggest that the device will be priced at EUR799 for the base model in Europe.

Galaxy Note 5 features 4GB RAM

Evan Blass said the Galaxy Note 5 (code named Noble) features octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, a 5.66-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 4GB RAM, 16MP main camera, 5MP front snapper, and 32GB of internal storage.  The image also shows S Pen stylus with the device. Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy Note 5 is likely to feature an auto-ejectable stylus. The Note 5 is expected to feature a metal and glass design, similar to that of the Galaxy S6.

Both new devices will be powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. But there will be no expandable storage. There have also been rumors that the Galaxy Note 5 would feature a USB 3.1 Type-C port. The official launch is less than two weeks away. We will get to see what the Korean electronics giant has up its sleeves on August 13.
