Most of the attention to Samsung’s handsets is reserved for the Note and Galaxy S lines, the company does offer other phones. One device that should be arriving in India soon is the Galaxy M30s with 48MP triple-lens camera. Although there aren’t as many leaks about this device, we are hearing a few details.
IANS reports that Samsung could launch the Galaxy M30s as early as next month. The news outlet also reports that the main lens on the triple-lens camera will likely by 48MP in size. The mid-range phone is also expected to run on a new Exynos processor that hasn’t been used in the M phone line-up yet. Although IANS did not indicate the size of the battery, it did describe it as having an industry-leading capacity with support for fast charging.
Other reports have suggested that the Galaxy M30s with 48MP triple-lens camera could run on the Exynos 9610 processor and that its battery could be a huge 6,000mAh. The device could have an Infinity-V display like its predecessor. There have been no reports about the other two lenses on the device or even whether the 48MP sensor will be Samsung’s Bright ISOCELL GM1 sensor or if it will be the improved GM2 model.

The Galaxy M30s is expected to have a polycarbonate body and glossy back. Leaked photos previously suggested it would have only a dual-lens camera, but it sounds like the tech community is now expecting a triple-lens camera instead. Unlike most high-end smartphones, the Galaxy M30s is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung is expected to use USB-C for charging and offer the device in white, black and blue.
The Galaxy M30s will be the successor to the M30, which sports a 6.4-inch Super-AMOLED screen with a notch and full HD+ resolution. The M30 features the Exynos 7904 chipset with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. It also sports a triple-lens camera, although its main lens is only 13MP in size, which means the Galaxy M30s with 48MP triple-lens camera will mark quite an improvement.
