Vitaliy Katsenelson, CFA, is Chief Investment Officer at Investment Management Associates in Denver, Colorado. He is the author of The Little Book of Sideways Markets and Active Value Investing. He immigrated to the United States from Murmansk, Russia in 1991. From 2001 to 2007, Katsenelson taught investment classes at the University of Colorado at Denver, Graduate School of Business.
Each year in June, Vitaliy hosts VALUEx Vail, an invitation-only conference where serious value investors share ideas and learn from each other’s experiences, while enjoying family fun in the gorgeous Colorado Rockies.
