The Oppo Find X was recently announced at an event in Paris by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer and houses a number of cool features that make it a relatively unique offering on the market.
One of the most notable aspects of the Find X is the pop-up camera as a highlight that allows the phone to retain a completely bezel-less display. More and more manufacturers have been making the effort to significantly reduce bezels, but the Find X and the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition take it to the next level with an extreme screen to body ratio.
The Oppo Find X will retail at €999 which makes it one of the most expensive devices we’ve ever seen, and it has some serious specs to warrant that price tag. It’s definitely a luxury device that may be inaccessible to many, but for those who want an even more exclusive experience, there’s always the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition.

If you thought the regular model was expensive, you may experience some major sticker shock with the reveal of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition. With a retail price of 1699 Euros, it certainly lives up to the Lamborghini reputation for power and luxury.
The phone will ship with a special design by the Italian carmaker, but rather than just being a special design there is some unique technology included that make it a clear upgrade over the base Find X.
Equipped with Super VOOC charging, the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition charges with speed that could be equated to the cars by the same name. The large 3400 battery can be charged within 35 minutes, making it an extremely solid option for those who are always on the go to top their phones off. Even if you can’t spare 35 minutes, a good 10 minutes of time plugged in could give you enough power to make it through the rest of the day.
Although the partnership between Oppo and Lamborghini may seem strange at first glance, they are actually not very unique when it comes to this sort of collaboration. With the reveal of the Huawei P20 Pro, we also saw the company partner with Porsche for a special edition with a whopping 512GB of internal memory.
At this point, we don’t have a solid idea of when the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition will launch, but the regular edition of the phone will launch sometime in August.
For most of us, the Lamborghini edition will be well out of our price range, but with how beautiful phones have become there is definitely a market for a phone as a status symbol. Fast charging may not warrant a price increase of nearly 50%, but the Lamborghini brand just might.
For the utilitarian among us, the Oppo Find X will likely get the job done just fine – and it’s pretty expensive on its own, rivaling the cost of phones like the iPhone X. People that want to spend extra to enjoy the best of the best when it comes to smartphones may be very happy with the Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition, however, as it represents a combination of cutting-edge technology and design that may very well position it to be one of the best phones in recent history.
