Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (NYSE:KMP) and Kinder Morgan Inc (NYSE:KMI) are two of the publicly traded companies of Kinder Morgan, the largest midstream and third largest energy company based on combined enterprise value in North America.
Kinder Morgan Energy (KMP) Earnings Estimates
Wall Street analysts expect Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (NYSE:KMP) to post $0.62 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, higher than its $0.37 EPS in the same period a year earlier. During the previous quarter, KMP reported 43 percent revenue growth year-over-year to $2.66 billion while its income from operations increased by approximately 65 percent to $794 million.
On the other hand, Analysts projected that Kinder Morgan Inc (NYSE:KMI) to report $0.31 EPS compared with its $0.36 EPS during the same quarter a year ago.
Early in May, the firm acquired Copano Energy and by the end of the month, Kinder Morgan raised its 2013 financial expectations for both KMP and KMI based on the contributions of Copano Energy. KMI expects to distribute an annual dividend of $1.60 per share while. KMP is expected to declare a cash distribution of $5.33 per share this year.
Mattel Inc (MAT)
Analysts anticipated that Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT) will report better financial results for the quarter. The company is expected to post $0.36 earnings per share, higher than its $0.28 earnings per share during the same period last year. Its revenue is expected to be around $1 billion this quarter.
For the full fiscal year, Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT) is expected to achieve $2.80 EPS on $6 billion revenue. Majority of analysts covering the stock recommended a buy rating.
Noble Corporation (NE)
Noble Corporation (NYSE:NE) is expected to report weak financial performance for the its second quarter. Analysts estimated that the company will post $0.58 EPS, lower than its $0.59 EPS during the same period a year ago. Its revenue is expected to be around $1 billion.

For the entire fiscal 2013, analysts projected that Noble Corporation (NYSE:NE) will generate $2.80 EPS on $4 billion revenue.
Meanwhile, analysts expect Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS) (VTX:NOVN) to report lower earnings result this quarter. The company’s earnings per share is estimated to decline by 5 percent to $1.31 from $1.38 last year. Its revenue is expected to be around $14 billion.
For the full fiscal year, analysts project that Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS) (VTX:NOVN) will deliver $5.11 EPS on $57 billion revenue.
