A look at Castlevania
The game tells the story of Miriam, a character who must fight her way through a castle after being summoned by an old friend, Gebel. Miriam suffers from a nasty curse that crystallizes the skin. Poor Gebel’s body has already been crystallized. She is a strong but silent character. She was an orphaned child and feels the strong need to protect those closest to her.
Gebel was the first victim of the magic crystal curse. He also happened to be the only one to survive the high-level effects. According to Gebel’s description on the Kickstarter page, he destroyed the guild that created him. After he destroyed the guild, he quickly realized that he had lost his humanity. With no place on Earth for him, Gebel summoned a castle full of demons from Hell.
Bonus features and extras for Kickstarter backers
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night earned more than $1.3 million, and that number is growing. It has over 17,000 backers. There are 31 days remaining in the campaign, which gives fans plenty of time to contribute between $5 and $7,500. International orders come with extra shipping fees. The upper level rewards are already sold out. The new game will likely appeal to serious gamers and fans of the Castlevania series.
