Impressive features

BlackBerry Z30 will run on the latest 10.2 versions of the BlackBerry 10 OS and will be powered by a 1.7GHZ processor with quad core graphics, and a 2880 mAh battery, which BlackBerry claims will run for 25 hours of mixed usage.

Other specs of the phone include an advanced antenna to receive the signals better and a Priority hub that will divide the messages and emails into important and not important.

From the specs perspective, Z30 looks strong, but the company needs customers to receive this phone well, which is a crucial factor for BlackBerry if it wants to survive.

BlackBerry has limited resources now

The Waterloo, Ontario-based company is seeking to gain a third position in the smartphone platform market with its latest OS 10. However, according to what recent data suggests, Microsoft Windows will probably take that spot as its devices are slowly gaining traction.

Onlookers gave positive feedback over the latest BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) devices, but according to the analysts, the company is not as cash rich as rivals Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), Samsung and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and thus cannot pull on a heavy advertising and marketing budget.

According to some analysts, Microsoft’s acquisition of the Nokia phone business will be a hurdle for BlackBerry, as Microsoft, which is already a dominating force in the software business, will double its efforts to leap forward in the smartphone market.

However, BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) now looks determined to follow its product pipeline and road map as the company is all set to report second quarter results next week. BlackBerry sees Z30 as the “biggest, fastest and most advanced smartphone” to date.

Z30 will be launched at some telecommunication network companies and retailers will stock the phone following the release on telecom operators. Further, the company said the pricing and the availability of the phone will be announced by its partners at the time their respective launch.
