Once again, something cool is coming for those who have jailbroken their iOS 10.2 devices using Luca Todesco’s Yalu102 jailbreak. Just a few days ago, Saurik launched the public version of Cydia 1.1.28 with support for 64-bit devices. He also enabled tweak purchases through the Cydia store for iOS 10-10.2 jailbreak. And soon, Saurik is going to fix another major problem for the jailbreak community.
Is Todesco assisting Saurik in developing the tool?
Those who have paid $99 for an Apple developer account can sign the jailbreak certificates and enjoy it for a year. But if you signed the certificate using a free Apple ID, you have to re-sign it every seven days using Cydia Impactor. Saurik has confirmed that he has been working on a solution to this problem. He initially encountered several issues while building the tool that would automatically re-sign your iOS 10-10.2 jailbreak.
Fortunately, he is receiving some assistance from an unnamed hacker, and things are now headed in the right direction. Saurik has become confident enough to claim that users signing the Yalu102 iOS 10.2 jailbreak app using Cydia Impactor might be doing it for the last time.
Lending support to Saurik’s announcement, noted Italian hacker Luca Todesco said in a tweet that a solution to the issue was in the works. Todesco suggested that users have to “bear with Cydia Impactor for another week or so.” It’s quite possible that the unnamed person assisting Saurik could be Todesco himself.
A solution for the 7 day cert is seemingly in the works, so please bear with Cydia Impactor for another week or so.

If and when the tool arrives, it should be welcomed by the jailbreak fans who are tired of having to re-sign the jailbreak app’s certificate every week using Cydia Impactor.
AppSync for iOS 10.2 jailbreak on the horizon
In a related development, the developer of AppSync Unified has confirmed that the jailbreak tweak is in the offing. Karen said in a tweet that a bug causing crashes on the iOS 10.2 jailbreak had been identified. The updated AppSync will be made available to the public soon. But don’t install the popular tweak until the updated version with iOS 10.2 compatibility is released. Karen warns that doing so would cause your device to go into a boot loop.
AppSync is an integral part of the iOS jailbreak experience. It allows users to install cracked apps or games on jailbroken devices. The App Store apps are trusted by the iOS ecosystem, and signed with a valid certificate. But installing hacked apps is extremely difficult due to Apple’s security requirements. AppSync simply removes the security requirements on jailbroken iOS devices.
