The iPhone 5 was the most anticipated gadget of the year, and despite the fact that it’s overall features and design aesthetic please almost everyone, it’s certainly not the most perfect gadget.
Here is a list of some of the most recently common problems with the iPhone 5.
1- Poorly Designed Map Application
Apple’s Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) in-house maps application was probably one of the most desirable features fans were anticipating with the iPhone 5, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. Just last week, the company’s CEO, Tim Cook, issued an apology letter to iPhone 5 users, and even suggested a few alternatives until they can enhance their current application. The suggestions included Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Maps and MapQuest.
2- Aluminum Case That Scratches With Minimal Use
Upon purchasing the iPhone 5, some users reported that their sleek new device, with an aluminum case get scratched within the first few hours or days. According to one Apple senior executive, that’s perfectly normal for aluminum to scratch or chip at the surface, in order to expose a natural silver color. The best way to protect your new iPhone 5 is to find a hard case that fits over it, and protects it from surface damages.
Other common problems with the new phone include a bubbling screen, light that leaks from the device, and a new dock connector.
Apple’s Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) latest bug has become a problem for iPhone 5 users, all thanks to the latest bug that affects Wi-Fi data networks.
The sixth generation smartphone is still new and it makes sense that they’re still working to fix bugs and other glitches. This latest problem has Verizon users angry that much of their data plan minutes are being depleted, thanks to glitch.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) offered this latest suggestion for Verizon iPhone 5 users.
