Apple Inc. Lists The Top Apps Of 2014

The year of 2014 is nearly over and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has taken the liberty to name Top Apps of 2014 in a list. The top apps on this year’s list includes brain-training puzzle Elevate and unique puzzle Threes!

Other notable games on the list include Hyperlapse,  cool videography app from Instagram that allows people to shoot time lapse videos that look polished. It also allows users to smooth out video shots for more cinematic quality. Yahoo News Digest also makes the list of top apps. This app simplifies news feeds and even supports iPads. Other popular news and entertainment apps in the list include Buzzfeed, 120 Sports, NYT Now, and Paper. There are hundreds of iOS apps for news and entertainment, but only a handful really stand out.

A closer look at an app which simplifies mobile typing

Some apps on the list were actually designed to simplify the whole mobile experience. One of those apps SwiftKey tops this year’s list. This app is a virtual keyboard that adapts to the way the user types. The appeal behind this particular app is that it recognizes the user’s writing style and makes suggestions for the next word, users can select the word instead of manually typing it in. It also reduces typos. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this app is that it allows users to type in two different languages.

Other notable apps on the list include Storehouse, 1Password, Camera+, TocaLab, Camu, Spring, Peek, Yummly, Waterlogue, Human, Steller, TeleStory, Litely, Uber, Star Walk 2, Cinematic, and Health Mate.

The Top Music includes Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour, I (a part of the Original Lonely Soundtrack), Haider, Khoobsurat, Ek Villian, Guardians of the Galaxy, Kill Dill, Tandanu, Seconds of Summer, Bangalore Days, and Bang Bang.
