Apple Inc. (AAPL) CEO Tim Cook To Speak At D11 Conference

Published on

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) chief executive officer Tim Cook will be a key speaker at the D11 conference on May 28th.  This is the second year that Cook was invited to speak at the All Things D  big event.

At last year’s event, Cook made hints about a possible Apple television. Walt Mossberg asked if Apple TV was big enough to make an impact on the market and if an Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) television set was in the near future. Cook answered, “We would look not just at this area, but other areas and ask can we control the key technology.”

Other topics discussed at last year’s event included Steve Jobs’ death, the company’s stock values, and patent infringement lawsuits. While we’re not certain what the exact topics will be for this year’s conference, there will still be plenty to discuss. Cook can talk about his company’s rivalry with Samsung, how he’s changed the company since the demise of Jobs, and what potential products could be in the pipeline.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Tim Cook isn’t the only top executive featured at this year’s All Things D conference.  We can expect to hear from  Sheryl Sandberg (COO for Facebook), Ben Silbermann (CEO for Pinterest), Jeff Imelt (CEO for GE), Dennis Woodside (CEO for Motorola Mobility), and Sundar Pichai (Senior VP for Android/Chrome/Google Apps), among others.

This year’s conference will put Cook and his company back in the spotlight. All eyes will be on him as he will answer some of the media’s most pressing questions.  Of course, we can’t expect him to divulge everything, especially information regarding future products or services. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has to keep information about their products secret until the day they officially announce the new product. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans should enjoy hearing Tim Cook talk at the D11 conference in San Francisco from May 28th through 30th.
