Utah To Utilize Blockchain Voting Technology In 2020 Presidential elections
NEW YORK, NY: The State of Utah has become the first state in the nation to utilize Blockchain voting technology in the 2020 Presidential elections. The mobile vote was cast on Monday using the new voting infrastructure from a registered voter's mobile phone. The new technologies enables Utah voters to cast their ballot using any smart device, and transfer the data to an election county body to be tallied. The first vote ever was cast for independent presidential candidate Brock Pierce, who is also considered a Blockchain pioneer.
