Top findings include: 

  • SAFE: London, New York City, Tokyo, and Boston have 3-5 times the amount of remote workers compared to pre-COVID.
  • LOCKDOWN MODE: Beijing and Paris experienced initial success opening business but have since seen its remote workforce double in recent months. Zurich who peaked at 7 times pre-COVID numbers, but have remained stable after dropping to a bit more than 2 times its pre-COVID average
  • BETTER, BUT NOT BACK TO NORMAL: Berlin - Usage peaked at 4X pre-COVID numbers but dropped to 2 times pre-COVID in mid-June and remained stable since.
  • OPEN FOR BUSINESS: Frankfurt and Vienna - Top-2 cities that are currently open for business around the world.
