The debate over whether or not to vaccinate continues to rage, and it has now entered mainstream discussion as work on a coronavirus vaccine runs at unprecedented speed. Robert F. Kennedy spoke out in a recent interview about what he says is widespread censorship of commentary against vaccines.

The problems with vaccines
In an interview with Valuetainment, Kennedy said vaccines should be tested like any other drug, but they aren't. He said he was drawn to the vaccine debate in the early 2000s when he was pursuing coal-burning power plants for the mercury they were depositing into the environment.
Some mothers approached him and told him that many vaccines contain mercury. As he researched vaccines, he discovered a disconnect between what the public was being told about vaccines and what the science said.
He said the practice of not testing vaccines is an "artifact of the CDC's legacy." He said vaccines were launched as a national security defense against biological weapons. Officials wanted to be able to quickly fabricate and deploy them to people without regulatory impediment.
No consequences
Years ago, he said some companies wanted to get out of the vaccine industry because they said it wasn't possible to make a vaccine safely. He said they will "always injure a certain amount of people, and the injurious will be grievous. Thus, companies wanted blanket immunity from liability.
Then-President Ronald Reagan signed the Vaccine Act stating that no matter how grievous the injury or how negligent the company is, they cannot be sued for redress. He said there's no discovery, medical malpractice or consequences if they kill or injure for life.
After the act was signed, Kennedy said pharmaceutical companies saw that they could make a product without any liability. It was a virtual gold mine because the biggest cost on medical products is liability. However, with vaccines, pharmaceutical companies can make products without any liability and no requirement for safety testing.
Vaccine censorship about side effects
Then there was a rush to get vaccines mandated. As a result, the U.S. went from requiring three vaccines when Kennedy was a child to 72 doses in his children's generation. He said the process began in 1989, the same year an epidemic of people with chronic disease started.
He said peanut allergies became an epidemic, moving from one in 1,200 children in his generation to one in 12 now. Robert said asthma and eczema are everywhere, and allergic, autoimmune and other illnesses exploded in prevalence. He said it all started in 1989 when the vaccine schedule changed, and more vaccines were mandated.
He said if you look at the inserts of many vaccines, you see some illnesses are listed as potential side effects. Kennedy added that pharmaceutical companies have the most influence on Capitol Hill because there are more pharmaceutical lobbyists than congressmen, senators and Supreme Court justices combined.
Kennedy also alleged that the four companies that make all 72 vaccine doses that are mandated for children are convicted felons. He said over the last 10 years, they have paid $35 billion in penalties and damages for "falsifying science and defrauding regulators," "lying to doctors," and "manipulating and bribing."
He also noted that the same companies that sell the vaccines that list illnesses as side effects are also selling treatments for those illnesses. Kennedy said $9 of every $10 spent on pharmaceuticals is spent in the U.S., and the third leading cause of death in the U.S. is pharmaceutical drugs.
He also said the U.S. has the "most aggressive vaccine schedule in the world" but the worst health in children and adults. Robert said the U.S. is 72 in infant mortality, putting it around the same level as Syria and Costa Rica. When he was a child, the U.S. was number one. He said Americans are "paying the most money for the worst outcomes."
Vaccine censorship online
Kennedy also said censorship keeps the message about vaccines from circulating widely. He said newspapers, TV, Facebook, Google and Instagram all censor what he says about vaccines.
He described Google as "intertwined and entangled with the pharmaceutical industry." He explained that Google parent Alphabet has a $715 million deal with GlaxoSmithKline. Robert said the company is working with pharmaceutical companies to harvest data and collect people's medical data through Alexis, Siri, smartphones when the microphone is left on, and buying habits. He also said other Alphabet subsidiaries manufacture vaccines. Thus, he alleges that Google is driven to do censorship about vaccines.
"When you do a Google search, it edits those search [sic] to make sure you do not find the things that are the most common search subjects," Kennedy told Valuetainment. "It will direct you away from anything that harms the pharmaceutical industry. And it will direct you away from vitamins. It will direct you away from chiropractory [sic]. It will direct you away from functional health or integrative medicine or any kind of alternative to the allopathic pharmaceutical paradigm."
Vaccine censorship in the mainstream media
Kennedy also said censorship of vaccine information occurs in the mainstream media as well. He explained that pharmaceutical companies not only advertise on TV but also control content. Pfizer sponsors Anderson Cooper, while Merck sponsors NBC Nightly News.
He said he was friends with former Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. Robert had made a documentary about vaccines years ago and asked Ailes if he could go on Fox and talk about it.
"He said, 'I can't let you do that.' He said, 'In fact, if any of my hosts allowed you on their show, I'd have to fire them, and if I didn't, I would get a call from Rupert within 10 minutes.'"
Kennedy noted that Rupert Murdoch not only owns Fox but also one of the biggest vaccine companies in the world. Ailes also told him that during non-election years, 70% of their ad revenue on evening news shows during some parts of the year comes from pharmaceutical companies. He said usually there are 22 ads on the evening news, and about 17 are pharmaceutical ads.
Robert described mainstream media companies as "utterly compromised" and not asking the questions of government officials that they should ask. He also said that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top infectious disease doctor in the U.S., has a "well-documented history of not telling the truth," "abusing his power," and "doing really sinister things."
Kennedy even went so far as to present a warning for the coronavirus vaccine that's currently in development. He described coronavirus vaccines as having a history of being "very, very dangerous vaccines" and "very volatile."
He spoke about the history of SARS and other coronaviruses and how countries got together between 2006 and 2012 to work on a coronavirus vaccine. They created about 30 vaccines and chose the four most promising ones.
They gave those vaccines to ferrets, which had an excellent immune response to the vaccines because they produced antibodies, but then when those ferrets were exposed to the live virus, they developed inflammation throughout their bodies and then died.
