Recently I got the opportunity to try out the Amarey 980 robot vacuum, and I must say it is an excellent addition to my home. It does a nice job at vacuuming my carpet and vinyl flooring, and it enables me to spend much less time cleaning my home because the vacuuming is done for me.

Features of the Amarey 980 robot vacuum
One of the things I especially like about this robot vacuum is the fact that it comes with a remote that makes it easy to control. I can start the vacuum from the comfort of my recliner without having to lift a finger. The vacuum also comes with an app that can be used to control it. I haven’t spent a lot of time with the app because I feel the remote control does such a great job at controlling it.
The remote offers an auto-clean function, so it’s easy to start it. The remote also has arrow buttons so you can tell the vacuum to cover any spots it might have missed. There’s a pause button, so if you want to pause it to empty the dust bin out, you can easily do that without missing a beat. There’s also a button that will send the vacuum back to its base station immediately if you want to finish up before it covers all the available space.
However, the app offers a lot more functionality, so it’s definitely worth the effort to download it. One impressive feature is the ability to create a map for a smart area of the home to tell the vacuum where to vacuum without it having to bump into things to find its way around. There’s even a spot cleaning feature so if you just want to vacuum one area where there was a spill, it’s easy to do that.
What’s in the box?
The Amarey A980 robot vacuum comes with an extra set of brushes, which is nice because it should extend the life of the vacuum. It also has filters, including an extra filter for when the filter that’s in it gets soiled beyond usability. There’s also a cleaning brush to make cleaning out the dust bin easy.
If I had to nitpick something, my main complaint would be that the dustbin is rather small, but that’s pretty standard with robot vacuums. Overall, I’d say the Amarey 980 robot vacuum offers an excellent way to spend less time cleaning. Since I have a physical disability that causes a lot of pain and makes it difficult to get around, I am thankful that the vacuum cleans the floors in my home more often than they would be cleaned otherwise due to my disability.
