Updated on

Some of the highest paying jobs in the US are in the healthcare sector. The top four jobs in Glassdoor’s 2019 list of the highest paying jobs are Physician, Pharmacy Manager, Dentist, and Pharmacist – all in the healthcare sector. Looking beyond the job title, which companies pay Americans well? Surprisingly, most of them are in the technology sector rather than healthcare. Here we take a look at the top 10 highest paying companies of 2019 as per data from the job portal Glassdoor.

Technology companies offer competitive compensation and exciting perks and benefits to attract top talent. But job seekers also look at the company culture, values, and trust in the leadership. Despite the current economic uncertainty, job seekers in the tech sector can command six-figure salaries if they have the right skill-set.

2019’s Highest Paying Companies

Notably, most of these companies are in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the cost of living is ridiculously high. Glassdoor used the jobs data and salary reviews by employees between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 to compile the list.
