Users have reported getting several error codes over the past month or so, rendering the service unusable for them. If you also have a Disney Plus subscription or are planning to get one, then it is important for you to know the common Disney Plus error codes and tips to fix them as well.

Common Disney Plus error codes

The following are the common Disney Plus error codes that you may get:

Error Code 4 – this error code is related to your account, and could arrive due to transaction issues. As per the users, they were able to fix this error by signing out and then signing back in. Also, check if your billing details are correct.

Error Code 5 – you may get this error if you make any mistake in the login information. So, to overcome this, check if your account information is correct.

Error Code 7 – this error code usually pops up if there is an issue with the email or password. If you get this error code, check if the email or password you entered is correct or not.

Error Code 8 – this is also related to email or password. Make sure that you enter the correct details.

Error Code 9 – this error code is related to a login or payment issue. If you get this error, check whether or not you have been accidentally logged out. Also, check if the payment details are okay or not.

Error Code 11 – this error is for the content. It is possible that the film or show that you want to view is not offered in your location. Try selecting another show or movie, to see if it really is a content-related issue. You may use a VPN to view content not offered in your region, but it could affect the system.

Error Code 13 – Disney Plus allows you to use the service on four different devices and supports up to seven user profiles. Thus, if you are using more than four devices, then you need to log out of at least one device.

Error Code 22 – this error code is also related to the content, specifically if you click on any restricted content. If you get this error, check if you have enabled Kids’mode or not. There might be some shows or movies that are restricted if Kids mode is enabled.

Error Code 24 – you may get this error code due to any login or connection issue. If you get this error code, check your internet connection or try signing out and sign in again or check if account information is correct or not.

Error Code 25 – you will likely get this error code if there is any issue with the Disney Plus service. Just wait for a bit, the issue should clear up by itself. If not, then sign out and in again, or contact the support team.

Error Code 31 – this error code pops up due to location issues. If you are using a VPN service to jump the geographical restrictions imposed by Disney Plus, then you may get this error code. To overcome this, tweak the location settings or stop using VPN.

Error Code 32 – this is another error code for a login or password issue. Check your login details or sign out and back in.

Error Code 35 and 36 – this error code is also related to restricted content. To overcome this, check the availability of content in your region, or disable VPN (if you are using it) or check location settings or disable Kids mode (if it is enabled).

Error Code 38 – this error code is related to the time setting on your device. Make sure that the time settings on your device are set to automatic.

Error Code 39 – this error code is related to restricted content, but appears if you are using the Xbox One app for streaming. To fix this, ensure that you are not streaming via PC, mobile, or any other devices when using the Xbox One app. If the issue still exists, try changing the HDMI port from your TV to your Xbox.

Error Code 41 – this again is related to an internal error with Disney Plus. Usually, you will get this error code if there is too much pressure on the Disney Plus servers. To fix this, reboot the device or sign out and sign back in. If the issue is still not fixed, then wait a while and try back after some time.

Error Code 42 – this error code could be due to issues with Disney Plus or any issue with your internet service. If you get this error code, check your internet connection, or wait for the issue to resolve on its own.

Error code 73 – this error code also relates to a location issue or some content not being available in your region. To overcome this, check your location settings or disable VPN.

Error Code 76 – this is related to slow internet speed or potential server overload. Wait for a while, and if the issue does not get resolved, reboot the device or log out and back in or reinstall the app.

Error Code 83 – this is the most reported Disney Plus error code and pops up due to internet-related issues with your mobile data. If you get this error code, check if the issue exists with a WiFi connection or with another supported device as well. If the issue is still there, contact the support team.

Error Code 86 – this error code may pop up if you breach any terms of service, such as using a VPN, mismatch with the information provided and more. To fix this, check your location settings or account information.

Error Code 87 – this error code is also related to a login or password issue. To fix this, sign out and in again, check login details and account information.

No error code – if you get no error code, just a message “No Error Code,” then try restarting the device. Once the device restarts, the error message may go away, or you may get an error message with any of the above error codes.
