In addition to booking a flight and confirming seats, travelers can also use the PIA app to track the status of their flight, plan their trip and flight schedule, and view their bookings. The app also offers online-only discounts and flexible fares when booking a flight. Additionally, the PIA app generates digital boarding passes to make the check-in process easier for travelers.

Early reviews of the PIA app on the Google Play Store are mixed. One user said it started working very well after the latest update, although several other users had complaints about how the app worked. Many reviewers also offered suggestions for how to make the app better. Those who like it say the design is good and that it is very easy to use. The interface makes it easy to book a flight using the PIA app. It features a new look and lists prices in multiple currencies. One reviewer also mentioned that it makes it easier to redeem rewards.

Airline looks toward revenue generation

The app is part of the airline‘s new direction as management tries to turn it into a profitable asset, according to TechJuice. PIA worked on the app with Turkish IT solutions provider Hitit. The two firms have been working together for more than a year, and Hitit has turned the airline toward ideas for generating revenue.

During a ceremony to commemorate a full year of partnership between PIA and Hitit, PIA CEO Arshad Malik congratulated the Turkish firm on the milestone, adding that their two nations will be brought even closer through their partnership.
