Airline looks toward revenue generation
The app is part of the airline‘s new direction as management tries to turn it into a profitable asset, according to TechJuice. PIA worked on the app with Turkish IT solutions provider Hitit. The two firms have been working together for more than a year, and Hitit has turned the airline toward ideas for generating revenue.
During a ceremony to commemorate a full year of partnership between PIA and Hitit, PIA CEO Arshad Malik congratulated the Turkish firm on the milestone, adding that their two nations will be brought even closer through their partnership.
