iPhone 11 preorder deals at retailers
Best Buy is offering up to $550 off the iPhone 11, 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max with a preorder, qualified activation and iPhone trade-in. The fine print states that trading in an iPhone X or newer will get a $400 total trade-in value, so it seems like that $550 credit will be very rare, if not impossible to attain. The savings are deducted from the price of the phone and applied via either instant savings or in bill credits with the carrier.
Walmart is offering $50 off the price of the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max when preordering. That brings the prices of the phones to $649 for the entry-level iPhone 11, $949 for the iPhone 11 Pro and $1,049 for the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Sam’s Club members can find some impressive iPhone 11 preorder deals. Those who preorder one of the three new models between Sept. 13 and 15 will receive a $200 gift card when activating on an installment plan between Sept. 20 and 22.
All four major U.S. carriers are also offering their own iPhone 11 preorder deals. T-Mobile is offering up to half off the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro via monthly bill credits. Subscribers must trade in an iPhone 7 or newer to get the deal, but the good news is that both new and existing subscribers can benefit, unlike most of the deals from carriers, which benefit only those who switch networks.
Verizon is offering those who switch to its network a free 64 GB iPhone 11 or $700 off any of the new models with an eligible trade-in.
Sprint is offering an 18-month lease on the iPhone 11 Pro Max for as little as $16.67 per month with a trade-in. The entry-level iPhone 11 can be leased for free for 18 months, while the iPhone 11 Pro can be leased for $12.50 per month. The carrier will perform a credit check on customers, so this deal won’t work if you have mediocre or bad credit. You also must activate a new line, and if you cancel before the 19th months are up, then you will have to pay the remaining balance.
AT&T is offering an iPhone 11 free to those who activate a new phone line and buy any iPhone 11 model. Subscribers must also have an eligible unlimited data plan and pay a $30 fee to activate or upgrade each device.
Apple itself is also offering some iPhone 11 preorder deals, most of which involve trading in an older device. A qualified trade-in can get you the standard iPhone 11 for $399 or $16.62 per month. If you trade in an eligible device and preorder an iPhone 11 Pro, you can get it for as little as $599 or $24.95 per month. If you trade in an iPhone XS Max for an iPhone 11 Pro Max, you can get it for as little as $499 or $20.79 per month. The easiest way to see what your previous iPhone might be worth is to go to Apple’s website and check it there directly.
