Apple has announced that the Apple Watch Series 5 will come with new features like a revamped design. The watches will boast a new always-on Retina display that never enters sleep mode like the previous models did to save battery.
They come with new location features to enhance the work-out experience and a built-in compass for better orientation and navigation. Another great feature is also security-oriented. The new Apple Watch will allow users to contact emergency services using only the Apple Watch without being connected to an iPhone nearby. The feature will be available in over 150 countries.
The design enhancements in the Apple Watch Series 5 also include new materials. The watch is available in aluminum, stainless steel, ceramic and an all-titanium build. Apple is also working on adding watchOS 6 so older watches will also be refreshed with a new version of the operating system and extra features. The system will come with several features like Cycle Tracking, a Noise app and Activity Trends.
Apple Watch Series 5 pre-orders are available for all three versions, with prices starting at $399 for the pure GPS version and $499 for the aluminum models with LTE.
