Here we take a look at the top 10 best places to work for in 2019. The ranking was compiled by Fortune magazine in collaboration with the people analytics and consulting firm Great Places To Work.

How they ranked the best companies to work for

To compile the 2019 list of the best companies to work for, Fortune magazine and Great Places To Work conducted an annual workforce study across the United States. They asked employees to anonymously respond to 60 survey questions related to their experiences at the workplace. They also took into account the company’s values, the effectiveness of leadership, and employees’ ability to contribute new ideas.

Each of the top 10 best companies to work for deeply values its people as well as its impact on the world. Only companies with more than 1,000 employees were considered for the ranking.

10- Boston Consulting Group

BCG is a leading consulting firm. It was ranked 4th last year, but has slipped to 10th place this year. More than 94% of Boston Consulting Group employees said it was a great place to work. The consulting firm supports its junior associates to ensure they excel in their careers. An impressive 93% employees said it was a great place to work.

The company has a warm and friendly culture where the chief executive and other top leaders are easily accessible. Ultimate Software gives each employee $300 per year towards their kids’ extracurricular activities. It also gives veterans an annual cash bonus.

7- Edward Jones

St. Louis-based Edward Jones is a financial services and insurance company with more than 46,000 employees. About 95% of the company’s employees are happy to be working there.
