Microsoft’s Mixer Is Ready For Gamers To Stream Fable 4

Updated on

There have been plenty of rumors about the next title in the Fable franchise, and now there appears to be a leak at Microsoft. Gamers and fans are now speculating about whether this year’s E3 will finally bring the unveiling of the long-rumored Fable 4.

Fable 4 is showing up in Mixer

Microsoft’s streaming platform now lists Fable 4 as an option in the Mixer search bar. To see it, all you need to do is type “Fable” into the search bar to enter the game you’re streaming, and you’ll find Fable 4 added to the already-existing titles in the franchise. A Reddit user posted a screenshot of the list of Fable titles in a thread on the social forum earlier this week.

The fact that the game has been added to Mixer is significant because it suggests Microsoft is prepared for gamers to start streaming the game soon. The only thing we don’t know is whether this was a mistake, a prank or an actual leak suggesting the game’s release is imminent. E3 is now only weeks away, so we expect to hear more about what’s being planned for the event before then. We’re starting to see even more speculations that E3 could bring an announcement about Fable 4. Fans were hoping for news about it at least year’s E3 but were left disappointed.

Rumors about the game

Rumors about Fable 4 began to pick up early last year. According to ScreenRant, Playground Games is rumored to be the developer for the next addition to the franchise after Lionhead Studios, which created it, shut down. Playground is perhaps best known for the Forza Horizon series.

The developer has said it is working on an open-world action RPG title, but it hasn’t given a title to the game yet. Rumors have suggested that this unnamed game is, in fact, Fable 4. Aaron Greenberg reportedly said last year at Gamescon that Playground Games was secretly working on a “big, big exclusive.”
