Game of Thrones Overview

If you haven’t watched the show, then you are probably wondering what all the hype is about. The basic story behind the show is very simple, but the writers have developed it into a show that brings on behavior that borders on addiction. Based on George R.R. Martin’s fantasy book series, of which the first book carries the same title as the show, these shows are far from tame entertainment. Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5 will undoubtedly carry on the show’s traditional theme of violence, sex, nudity, and foul language. It probably isn’t suitable for younger viewers because of the content.

The story follows three separate plots that take place on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos. Each plot follows the plans of separate factions to take control of their respective land areas. The books, like the show, are not light entertainment. Each volume is 700 plus pages, and filled with graphic descriptions of violence and sex. Revenge and deviance are common motivations for the actions of the characters, and murder is regarded as a good way to solve a dispute.  Season 8 episode 5 will undoubtedly satiate some of the curiosity of viewers regarding what will happen next in the budding romance between Jaime and Brienne. It could also hold the answers regarding Jaime’s motives for leaving and whether he will join his sister, or attempt to assassinate her.

Game of Thrones Season 8 episode 5 is set to air next Sunday night, and undoubtedly fans will be in front of their televisions, computers, and tablets eagerly awaiting the start of the show.
