Smart Containers Group, the Swiss-based manufacturer utilising blockchain technology to deliver one of the world’s safest temperature-controlled containers for food and pharmaceuticals, has announced a strategic alliance between its SkyCell division and DuPont Safety & Construction (DuPont), a division of DowDuPont, one of the world’s largest specialty product companies.
The alliance will leverage SkyCell’s temperature-controlled containers and its logger and data platforms for DuPont™ Tyvek® Cargo Covers, the most innovative pallet blanket for pharmaceuticals, to ensure the safe delivery of pharmaceuticals world-wide.
SkyCell is already the fourth largest container company in air freight and represents the largest fleet of Internet of Things plugged-in containers in the world. The company also has partnerships with a number of major airlines specializing in pharmaceuticals including CargoLux and Emirates SkyCargo.

Zug, Switzerland, July 12, 2018 – Smart Containers Group, the Swiss-based manufacturer of the world’s safest temperature-controlled containers for food and pharmaceuticals, has announced a strategic alliance between its SkyCell division and DuPont Safety & Construction (DuPont), a division of DowDuPont, one of the world’s largest specialty product companies. The collaboration will combine both companies’ service offerings to address the emerging requirements of the global supply chain sector.
