New iPhone X Plus Leak: Apple Continues With Its Design

Updated on

Samsung is going to have its big event in New York City on Aug. 9, where it will feature the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9. However, Apple won’t be far behind, because we are going to be seeing the release of the new iPhone models in September. Given that the reveal of the smartphones is close, the rumors and leaks continue to add up. Twitter leaker, Ben Geskin shared images suggesting a new iPhone X Plus leak, claiming that the images show the dummy units of the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, followed by the 6.1-inch LCD models.

It’s worth adding that the images also emerged on another website featuring rumors and leaks – Slash Leaks. However, the images didn’t show much that hasn’t already been leaked or rumored before. Based on the pictures, the 6.1-inch model is equipped with only one rear facing camera, while the iPhone X Plus sports a dual-lens camera pattern that is similar to the one we have already seen on last year’s iPhone X.

As per 9To5Mac, the new iPhone X Plus is expected to come with a stainless steel frame, while the 6.1-inch model would be equipped with an aluminum frame, given that it’s designed to be more cost-saving. The images of the new iPhone X Plus leak reveal that the 6.1-inch option is equipped with a tad larger bezel than the ones of the iPhone X Plus.

The two leaked images reveal the new iPhone X Plus is in silver, while the 6.1-inch model sports space gray, both colors of which were quite dominant for the previous iPhone models. As a trusted analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo (via 9To5Mac) revealed that the new iPhones are going to be refreshed with a new gold color option that will be available on the iPhone X and iPhone X Plus. Furthermore, the 6.1-inch LCD device will come available in a greater variety of colors including yellow, orange, blue and more.
