Funko is known for creating specific Pop! Figures oriented toward every popular game, show or movie. Now, the famous creator has collaborated with Epic Games in order to create Fortnite merchandise. The new Fortnite branded collection would develop more than ten product lines including Funko’s Pop! Figures, 5 Star figures, Pint Size Heroes, Vynl, keychains, POP! apparel and much more, as reported by NASDAQ.
“We are thrilled to collaborate and partner with Epic Games to create the inaugural Fortnite™ product collection and to bring these characters to life for the first time,” Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko was quoted by NASDAQ. “This collection will be a true celebration of Fortnite’s incredible popularity and cultural significance, and we believe our Funko Fortnite collectibles will strongly resonate with fans of the game. We look forward to expanding this collection and combining our leading product capabilities with our strong retail platform. Ultimately our goal is to create a powerful merchandise strategy for the Fortnite™ brand, as well as bring these amazing collectibles to fans around the world.”

The new Fortnite merchandise collection is planned to launch for the 2018 Holiday season, so make sure to use this opportunity to surprise your beloved Fortnite fan with a Funko-styled gift. The collection will be available in a large variety of retailers that have already stocked Funko products before.

Both companies have been getting a lot of attention lately. Last week Funko announced its first Pokemon Pop! action figure – Pikachu. Meanwhile, Fortnite has successfully ended the 4th season and started its Battle Pass 5th season.
