Quantitative Value is one of the best investing books on the market, and a personal favorite of both Ben Reynolds and me (Nick McCullum).

Tobias is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Carbon Beach Asset Management, a value investing firm that manages portfolios for high net-worth individuals, endowments, and institutions.  Tobias also runs The Acquirer's Multiple site and stock screener.

Our conversation is wide-ranging and discusses everything from special situations to portfolio construction and the Kelly criterion to an interesting concept called “The Broken Leg” phenomenon.
